Nellie’s All Natural Fragrance Sticks
For use with Nellie’s PVC free Dryerballs. These soy wax and essential oil infused fragrance sticks are sure to please anyone looking to add a little flavor to their laundry. There are ten fragrance sticks per bottle and each stick will last up to 10 loads depending on fabrics and drying time. The essential oil and wax will not leave any residue on the fabric.

Ingredients of the Oxygen Brightener are:
Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Primary Linear Alchol Ethoxylate.
Do not mix with chlorine, ammonia products or any other chemicals.

Yes, Oxygen Brightener is safe to use on cloth diapers. However, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your cloth diaper company, as they all have different guidelines.

I have not had good success with the dishwasher detergent…It leaves a white film on everything…glasses especially….My rinse agent is replenished as I thought that might be the problem, but it still looks filmy. I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions? I have actually gone back to regular detergent.

I too have been having issues with the dishwasher detergent- It leaves a white film on my glasses. I have tried replenishing the rinse-aid and adjusting the detergent amounts (I thought I might be using too much), but to no avail. The heavy film is making me want to switch to a different product but I have a full can of the Nellies stuff- if you have any suggestions for how to solve this problem…that would be great.

I love the dishwasher detergent. It’s the first one we’ve tried that actually gets our dishes clean. I own an online store and my cutomers love it too! As for the white marks, try only using 1 scoop rather than 2. We only use 1 and it lasts twices as long!

I’ve had the Nellies dishwasher detergent as well and since we don’t have a water softener we had white spots on the glasses and dishes like many above. We use a 1/4 cup of vinegar on each layer of the rack in the dishwasher(the holder is facing up of course) and it makes the dishes sparkle like new after 1 or 2 washes. We haven’t tried the rinse agent if it will do the same thing but this is what we’ve found works the best so far.

My girlfriend is _extremely_ allergic to latex, the PVC free drier balls are “Thermal plastic rubber”. Does that mean it contains latex? Should we get the standard ones due to her allergy?

I am so pleased with the PVC-free dryer balls, and the fragrance sticks! I’m one who loves scented laundry, but I wanted a more natural, green alternative to fabric softener. My husband is always skeptical of green products, and it’s because I’ve tried so many, only to be let down. Even my husband loves these dryer balls and the sticks! The PVC Free Dryerballs are made of Thermal Plastic Rubber. This material is totally safe to use in the dryer and there are no chemicals released from the Dryerball during the drying process.

We’re having our first baby and I just bought the detergent and PVC-free dryballs for her clothes. After running through the first load, everything looked great, felt great and smelled great…but when I pulled out the dryballs, one of them was missing a whole bunch of ridgest and it looked like it had been cut with a hot knife. I’m guessing that it came up against something hot in the dryer and it all melted away. Now I’m not sure if I should rewash the baby clothes because they may have some rubber residue on them. I’ll unfortunately be returning the dryerballs. Would the other dryerballs (the ones with PVCs I guess) be more durable? She’s our first, so I’m a little paranoid about what chemicals/substances we might expose her too.

Hi, I would like to clarify what has happened to the Dryerballs. The PVC Free Dryerballs did not melt, we have had a couple sets come back to us with this and have had some tests run. The Dryerball seems to catch in-between the door and the drum and wears down the “row of nubs” from rubbing. This would give the appearance of melting but it is actually wear. You do not need to rewash the clothes as the loose pieces of nubs would end up in the lint trap and there are no harmful chemicals or substances released from the Dryerballs.

I agree with yogiyesa. Although I don’t have a dishwasher at the moment, I have had similar problems with white film on dishes because of hard water. Didn’t matter what dishwasher detergent I used. White Vinegar was always the solution.

Since the fragrance sticks do not leave any residue, they should be safe for cloth diapers? I have been using them on my regular clothes and really like the subtle scent they leave, but I don’t want to have to remove the stick every time I need to launder diapers or get another set of dryer balls and have to switch them out.

You should be just fine using the fregrance stick with cloth diapers. You only need to use one stick in one dryerball, but put two dryerballs in at once.

I would say yes to the blue dryerballs being used in a combo machine but I could not guarantee the life span when being used in this format. The PVC Free Dryerballs should not be used in a combo machine.
